The report submitted to the House of Lords(英国上议院) by the Health Department of England reveals that medical research on animals have great effect for the medical development. According to the development of medicine and the animals’ function on it in real life, we can also draw this conclusion.Besides, we have two remarks(备注). Firstly: we don’t use the endangered species of animals for medical research. The species of animals for our use is limited, such as mouse, rat, guinea-pig(豚鼠), hamster(地鼠), rabbit, dog, monkeys, cat, swine(猪) and so on. Do you hear of the pandas for medical research? There is a special and relatively perfect science: Laboratory Animal Sciences (实验动物科学) which is about the animals on research and serve for the life science and the social development. And there are special sciences for the breeding of animals for research.
